About Us

My Boy Child Foundation (MBCF) is a community-based organisation dedicated to empowering boys and young men through education, mentorship, leadership development, life skills training, skills development and community empowerment programmes.

The Foundation was established in recognition of the growing challenges faced by many boys and young men in our communities. While many young people possess great potential, they often face obstacles such as poor educational performance, unemployment, lack of positive role models, substance abuse, family challenges and limited access to opportunities for personal and professional development.

At MBCF, we believe that every boy has the potential to become a responsible, productive and successful man when provided with the right guidance, support and opportunities. We are committed to helping boys and young men discover their purpose, develop confidence, build character and acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in life.

Our organisation seeks to create a supportive environment where boys and young men are encouraged to dream, learn, grow and contribute positively to society. Through our programmes, participants are equipped with academic support, mentorship, leadership skills, life skills, employability skills and opportunities for personal growth.

MBCF recognises that the development of boys and young men is not the responsibility of one person or institution alone. It requires the collective effort of parents, guardians, schools, mentors, community leaders, faith-based organisations, businesses and government institutions. We therefore promote partnerships and collaboration to strengthen the support available to young people.

Our programmes are designed to address the educational, social, emotional and developmental needs of boys and young men while promoting values such as respect, responsibility, discipline, integrity, perseverance, compassion and service to others.

We envision communities where boys and young men are equipped to become responsible fathers, caring family members, ethical leaders, skilled professionals, successful entrepreneurs and active citizens who contribute positively to the wellbeing of society.
